Hi there! My name is Miss Drzewiecki and I am thrilled to be your second grade teacher at Saint John XXIII. I am from Michigan City, Indiana. I was born and raised in Michigan City which is right on one of our Great Lakes, Lake Michigan. Growing up in Michigan City I went to Queen of All Saints Catholic School from preschool all the way to eighth grade. From QAS I went on to Marquette Catholic High School. I feel that I was very fortunate to grow up in a tight knit Catholic community, and I am very excited to continue that with Saint John XXIII. I attended Indiana University where I majored in Early Childhood Education. Go Hoosiers! This will be my fourth year at Saint John XXIII. I love being apart of this wonderful community. I cannot wait to grow, learn, and laugh with all those little kiddos.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time soaking up the sun and swimming in Lake Michigan with friends and family. I also enjoy baking, arts and crafts, traveling, exploring outside, and just spending time with my family. I have an awesome nephew, Luke, who I love hanging out with when I get the chance. I also have a niece, Lillian, that I am also lucky enough to call my God-Daughter. I am a BIG fan of animals, especially my cat and puppy- Tillie and GusGus. I love telling all the crazy stories that GusGus is up to!
Check out a little photo gallery I put together for you to get to know me a little better!
